May 2025 — Our Inaugural AGM & Official Non-Profit Status

Members

May 2025 was a historic month for BCPHA as we hosted our first-ever Annual General Meeting and are celebrating officially becoming a registered non-profit association representing BC’s plumbing, and HVAC professionals

For years, there’s been talk of the need for stronger industry advocacy, more support for business owners, and better access to resources across BC — and now, it’s happening.

At the AGM, members voted to finalize our membership pricing structure, approve our eligibility criteria, and, most importantly, elect our very first Board of Directors.

We’re proud to introduce the founding board (names to be updated):

  • President — Chad Paton, Paton Plumbing Worx

  • Vice President — Colin Sadler, Sadler Plumbing

  • Treasurer — Spencer Turley, Murrayville Plumbing

  • Director of Development — Terrence Chan, Impetus Plumbing & Heating

  • Vendor Relations — Ian Gillies, Uponor

  • Conduct & Ethics — Connor McMillian, K & M Mechanical

  • Membership Committee - Rob Vincenzi, Tidal Mechanical

  • Membership Committee - Chris Poleman, Tulip Plumbing & Heating

  • Membership Committee - Graham McVeigh, Woola Mechanical

  • Conflict Resolution - Rob Isaac, Van Custom Plumbing

This board represents a cross-section of our industry, bringing experience from small businesses, large contractors, and supplier partners. Their mission is to support members, advocate for the trades, and continue building BCPHA into an association that delivers real value.

It was a proud day for everyone involved, proof that when we come together with a clear vision, we can build something that serves the entire BC HVAC & Plumbing community.
