Pro West Softball Tournament

This year, BCPHA put together a team for the Pro West softball tournament, and the memories were event better than our team

There were a few rough throws, a couple of swings that missed by a mile, and more than one moment where someone had to shake off a ball to the shin. By the end of the day, everyone walked away in one piece, which we are counting as a win on its own.

On the scoreboard, we only picked up a win in our last game of the day. But nobody was really keeping track by that point. What stuck was everything around the games, the dugout jokes, the between inning trash talk, and watching people who normally only see each other at industry events cheer each other on from the sidelines.

Days like this are not really about the score. They are about getting people in the trade together outside of work, having some laughs, and building the kind of relationships that make this industry feel like a community instead of just a bunch of competing businesses.

Thanks to everyone who came out and played, and to Pro West for putting on the tournament. We walked away with one win, a few sore muscles, and a lot of memories that will stick around a lot longer than the final score will.
